Fixed term (until 31/8/2022)

Teacher – Full Time

Pay Scale: MPS 1 – 6 (£25,714-£36,961 FTE)

I got into teaching because I wanted to make a difference and improve the outcomes for children and this is what working at Churchfield does. Dedication and building effective relationships with children is a must here and the rewards are huge. Our children deserve a superb teaching team from their earliest days at the school! – Mr Minton Headteacher of Churchfield School and Nursery.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher whose outstanding classroom practice will add to our innovative team’s culture of learning and reflection. Now more than ever, our school plays a central role in the life of our local community and working with us will be an opportunity for you to genuinely change lives.

The school is able to offer:-

  • Inquisitive and enthusiastic children who will thrive under your support and direction.
  • A staff team where support and collaboration is an embedded culture.
  • A genuine commitment to professional development.
  • A highly experienced, dedicated and supportive Early Years leadership team
  • We are nurturing a caring and innovative culture across the school that focuses on nurturing the whole child, including high expectations for academic performance.

Our School has a dedicated and experienced team of teaching and support staff. We have strong links with the Church, local community and have supportive parents.

Prospective candidates are warmly invited to contact the school and arrange a Teams call about the role or, if Covid restrictions allow, a visit to the school to meet with the Headteacher, staff and children. If you would like to arrange this, please book an appointment via phone 01278 782743.
