Leadership scale – pay range 8 to 12 dependent on experience (rising to 12 – 16 as Head of School)
An exciting opportunity has risen within The Redstart Learning Partnership to join our senior leaders initially as a Deputy Head Teacher but with guidance and support to take on the role of Head of School within the year. Based at Minerva Primary School you will be driven to support the academic development of all students including our most vulnerable learners.

Minerva Primary School is engaged in a rapid improvement journey seeking to raise overall standards across the curriculum while building upon its secure and embedded safeguarding practices. Visits and visitors play an important part of the school’s curriculum development. The school has developed a number of innovative approaches to support children who find the experience of school a challenge. Over the last 18 months a strong and committed team has been built seeking to secure a prosperous future for the school and its community.
With a history of close links to the community Minerva Primary school serves a distinct community close to Taunton town centre. Working closely with the local Church, nearby care homes and community centre the school reaches out to its community. Through these links the children have frequent contact with local residents and the school is used regularly by these groups in the evening and some weekends.
