The Castle School is looking to appoint a high-quality Teacher of Humanities to start in September 2020. Both full and part time applications are welcome.

Situated in Taunton, the historic county town of Somerset, The Castle School is an outstanding and over-subscribed academy with an enviable record of academic success over many years.

At The Castle School we are fortunate to have students who are motivated and enthusiastic about learning and taking part in the huge range of enrichment on offer.  We have very high expectations of ourselves and of our students. We invest heavily in our staff and have a superb reputation for outstanding support and development for teachers, particularly for NQTs. There are great career opportunities in working across the Trust and within our Partnership of four secondary schools.

You should be a committed and high quality teacher wishing to join extremely effective and supportive departments.  NQTs and experienced teachers are equally welcome to apply.

Application packs for the above post are available via the school website www.castleschool.co.uk. The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 30th March 2020, however early applications are encouraged with shortlisting taking place as applications are received.

The Castle School Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all who work here to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosures.
