BTCT Scale Points 25 to 30. Salary range: £39,996 to £51,878 per annum, dependent upon experience.

BTCT is an inclusive, forward-thinking Trust which continually seeks to improve outcomes for all children, young people and their families. This exciting role will further increase accessibility to the Trust’s Educational Psychologist Offer, enabling staff, parents and students access to advice and clinical provision to improve our inclusive practice and understanding of needs of our students.

We are therefore seeking to appoint an additional qualified Educational Psychologist to work directly with staff and students between the ages of 3-18 across all of our academies. This role sits within our wider Inclusion Trust Team; an experienced, multi-professional team with a wide range of expertise in working with vulnerable children and families and partner agencies. The successful candidate will have an exciting and unique opportunity to work alongside our existing Trust E.P. to further develop our inclusive practice across the Trust.

The successful candidate will:

  • contribute to the development of whole school provision for students with learning and social, emotional and mental health needs
  • manage and oversee agreed student cases, working directly with students, families and schools.
  • continue their own professional development to ensure practice is current and relevant to needs of students and staff across the Trust – this includes maintaining links with external Educational Psychologists.
  • be a qualified Educational Psychologist registered with the HCPC, and receive supervision (paid by the Trust)

If you are passionate about making a difference for vulnerable children and young people, and feel inspired to become part of a supportive, inclusive team, we welcome your application.
