From February Half Term to August 2019 (potential to continue to February 2020)

Can you set the minds of our young learners alight with imagination and curiosity? Extinguish misconceptions? Raise our pupils high in to the air with pride and expectation? See in to the minds of the young and unlock their own hidden powers?

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to join this hard working and dedicated school. We are looking for initially a Year 2 teacher who can demonstrate a commitment to raising children’s aspirations and attainment through creative and inspiring learning experiences; who will motivate and connect with our pupils and families, whilst ensuring progress and ambition are fostered for all learners. This post will commence after February Half term 2019 and is a maternity post initially until August 2019 with the potential to run to February 2020 for the right candidate subject to funding and staffing structure.

We are looking for a teacher who has:

  • proven ability to work effectively alongside others to have a significant impact on pupil’s attainment
  • proven outstanding classroom practice
  • clear understanding of assessing pupil’s progress
  • an interest in Music, Science, IT and design technology
  • excellent communication skills with children, parents and colleagues
  • good organisation skills

We have recently moved into our new 8 class extension and will be redeveloping the older part of our school over the coming year.  It is a very exciting time to join us and we look forward to showing you our fantastic school.
